Description:

Anpirtoline Hydrochloride is a potent vasoconstrictor that acts on the 5-HT2 receptors and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptors. It can also be formulated with polyethylene glycol to enhance its solubility. Anpirtoline Hydrochloride exhibits high affinity for 5-HT1 receptors and has been shown to modulate striatal dopamine release. This compound has strong receptor binding profiles and can penetrate water-permeable membranes. Additionally, Anpirtoline Hydrochloride possesses analgesic activity and is commonly used in research settings as a tool compound. It does not exhibit significant binding affinity for 5-HT3 receptor antagonists.
