Product Information
Dexamethasone-∆17,20 21-aldehyde is a synthetic, steroidal alkylating agent that binds to and activates the glucocorticoid receptor. Dexamethasone-∆17,20 21-aldehyde is a potent inhibitor of ion channels and has been shown to inhibit potassium channel activity in cultured cells. It also inhibits the association of ligands with their receptors and may be used as a research tool for studying protein interactions. This product is primarily used as an immunosuppressive agent in the treatment of autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus erythematosus, or multiple sclerosis.
