Applications Actinamine dihydrochloride is an impurity of Spectinomycin (HCl salt-S680250), an antibiotic that selectively inhibits protein synthesis in cells of Escherichia coli, and is also commonly used to treat patients with uncomplicated cases of gonorrhea.
