Applications Protected ε-Aminocaproic Acid (A603015). Used in the preparatiom of esters of 6-aminohexanoic acid as antibacterial agents. EACA is reported to inhibit chymotrypsin, Factor VIIa, lysine carboxy peptidase, plasmin, and plasminogen activator.
