Applications 2-Cyano-2-(hydroxyimino)acetic Acid is a degradation product of Cymoxanil (C988995), which is a fungicide applied as a seed treatment or as a foliar application to the plants to control late blight. It is an effective ligand for Cu2+ and Ni2+ ions over a broad pH range and useful reagent for synthesizing chelating agents.
