Applications 2,6-Dichloroformanilide is an intermediate in the synthesis of N-(2,6-Dichlorophenyl)-carbonimidic Dichloride (D436565). N-(2,6-dichlorophenyl)-carbonimidic Dichloride is an impurity of clonidine (C587130). Chlonidine is α2-Adrenergic agonist. Antihypertensive; analgesic for neuropathic pain.
