Applications N-(Diphenoxymethylene)-methanesulfonamide is used in the synthesis of analog of ranitidine, N-2-(2-Hydroxy-2-phenyl)ethyl-N’’-(methanesulfonyl)guanidine, which possesses antiulcer activity.Also, it is an intermediate used in the synthesis of Osutidine (O703905), which can be used in the biological study of studies on cAMP generation in hepa cells expressing histamine H2 receptor antagonism by T-593. Anti-ulcer drug that is structurally related to Rantidine (R120000).
