Applications β-​Oxo-​3-​(phenylmethoxy)​-​N,​N,​O-​tris(phenylmethyl)​-​ethyl Ester Tyrosine is a reagent in the synthesis of D-Threo-3,4-Dihydroxyphenylserine Hydrochloride (T404505) which is a useful intermediate for drugs in the pharmaceutical industry. It also performs a positive chronotropic effect and increases the heart rate of rats.
