Applications Isotope labelled Ethyl Butyrate is used in the preparation of novel 2-cyanopyrimidines as cathespin K inhibitors. Also used in the synthesis of pyridobenzimidazole derivatives exhibiting antifungal activity by the inhibition of β-1,6-glucan.
