Applications Fmoc-(3S)-3-amino-1-carboxymethylcaprolactame is used in the synthesis of unsubstituted piperazinone-based transition state factor Xa inhibitors. It is also used to prepare peptidomimetics containing Freidinger lactams as STAT3 inhibitors.
