Description

Applications Isophytol was used to study the acidities and acidity-catalytic activity relationships for sulfonic acid-functionalized ionic liquids with pyridinium cations.Regioselective condesation of trimethylhydroquinone with isophytol produced (±)​-​α-​tocopherol (vitamin E; Tf= CF3SO2)​.
