Description:
Applications 1-(4-Methoxyphenyl)-2-pyrrolidinone is a useful synthetic intermediate in the synthesis of Clanobutin (C558000); a compound that inhibits gluconeogenesis in isolated perfused rat livers. It is a choleretic and digestion-stimulating agent for animals.
