Applications p-Toluenediamine-d6 is the labeled analogue of 2,5-Diaminotoluene (T535877), an aromatic compound that is commonly used in permanent hair-dye formulations. 2,5-Diaminotoluene is weakly mutagenic and is also partially responsible for causing allergic contact dermatitis in humans.
