Applications 2-[(3,3,3-Trifluoropropyl)thio]adenosine is used as a reactant in the synthesis of Cangrelor (C175230). It was also used in the synthesis of a host of compounds that act as highly active antiplatelet agents with dual specificity for platelet P2Y1 and P2Y12 ADP receptors.
