CAS:3-Fluoroimidazo[1,2-a]pyridine-2-carboxylic acid hydrochloride (3FP) is a potent inhibitor of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) and cell factor (cF). It has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of carcinoma cell lines. 3FP also inhibits the activity of COX-2 by competitive inhibition of the enzyme.
