Celecoxib é um medicamento anti-inflamatório não esteroidal (AINE) usado principalmente para o tratamento da dor e da inflamação associadas a condições como a artrite. Inibe seletivamente a enzima ciclooxigenase-2 (COX-2), que desempenha um papel fundamental no processo inflamatório, reduzindo assim a produção de prostaglandinas que mediam a dor e a inflamação.
