β-Ciclodextrina, éteres sulfobutilo, sais de sódio, comumente referido como éter sulfobutilo β-ciclodextrina (SBE-β-CD), é uma ciclodextrina modificada que melhora a solubilidade e estabilidade de vários compostos, particularmente fármacos hidrofóbicos. Este composto apresenta uma estrutura de oligossacarídeo cíclico composta por sete unidades de glicose, com grupos de éter sulfobutilo introduzidos para melhorar sua solubilidade em água e biocompatibilidade. A forma de sal sódico melhora suas propriedades iônicas, tornando-a adequada para aplicações farmacêuticas, particularmente na formulação e sistemas de entrega de medicamentos.
