Fmoc-leucina, ou fluorenilmetoxicarbonila-leucina, é um derivado do aminoácido leucina, comumente utilizado na síntese de peptídeos e na síntese de peptídeos em fase sólida (SPPS). Apresenta um grupo protetor Fmoc que permite a desproteção seletiva durante o processo de síntese. A estrutura de Fmoc-leucina inclui um grupo fluorenilmetoxicarbonila ligado ao grupo amino da leucina, o que ajuda a estabilizar o aminoácido durante a síntese e previne reações indesejadas. Fmoc-leucina é tipicamente um sólido branco a off-white e é solúvel em solventes orgânicos como dimetilformamida (DMF) e dimetilsulfóxido (DMSO), mas menos solúvel em água.
