Fmoc-Cys(Trt)-Opfp is a synthetic peptide that is used in the study of receptor selectivity. This compound has been shown to bind to melanocortin receptors, and it is also an effective ligand for these receptors. Fmoc-Cys(Trt)-Opfp has been shown to be expressed in the brain and to have a transfer effect on other neurons.
