AS 19
CAS:
AS 19 is a potent antimicrobial agent that belongs to the class of 5-hydroxytryptamine receptor agonists. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of bacterial strains in vitro, including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus and vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus faecium. AS 19 is also active against Escherichia coli, Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium, Mycobacterium tuberculosis and Mycobacterium avium complex. This drug has been shown to be a potent inhibitor of neuronal death in rats. The mechanism of action is not yet clear; however, it may be due to the inhibition of 5-ht7 receptors on neurons or an anti-inflammatory effect. AS 19 inhibits locomotor activity at low doses and induces locomotor activity at high doses in mice.
Formula:C18H25N3Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:283.41 g/molAS19
