CAS:<p>Fenpyroximate is a pyrazole-based insecticide that acts as a synergist with sodium carbonate. It has been shown to be toxic to insects in vitro assays and toxicity studies. Fenpyroximate has also been shown to inhibit enzyme activities, such as ATP levels, and affect the energy metabolism of insects by inhibiting the production of fatty acids. This effect is probably due to its ability to inhibit detoxification enzymes in larvae.
