CAS:Controlled ProductFluoxetine-d5 hydrochloride is a fluorinated form of fluoxetine, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug. Fluoxetine-d5 hydrochloride has been shown to be an ATP binding cassette transporter inhibitor, meaning that it blocks the uptake of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) in cells. This inhibition may be due to its ability to bind to muscle tissue and act as a matrix effect enhancer, which leads to increased ATP production in muscle cells. Fluoxetine-d5 hydrochloride has also been shown to inhibit acetaminophen metabolism by blocking the activity of cytochrome P450 enzymes.
