:5'-DMT-3'-TBDMS-Ac-rC
Description:
5'-DMT-3'-TBDMS-Ac-rC, with the CAS number 123956-65-0, is a modified nucleoside derivative that features several key structural characteristics. It contains a 5'-dimethoxytrityl (DMT) protecting group, which is commonly used in nucleic acid synthesis to protect the 5' hydroxyl group during the synthesis process. The 3'-TBDMS (tert-butyldimethylsilyl) group serves as a protective moiety for the 3' hydroxyl, enhancing the stability and solubility of the compound. The acetyl (Ac) group further modifies the nucleoside, potentially influencing its reactivity and interactions. The "rC" indicates that this compound is a ribonucleoside, specifically a modified form of cytidine. Such modifications are often employed in the synthesis of oligonucleotides and can enhance the stability and efficacy of nucleic acid-based therapeutics. Overall, this compound is significant in the field of molecular biology and medicinal chemistry, particularly in the development of RNA-based drugs and research applications.

CAS:
N4-Acetyl-3'-O-tert-butyldimethylsilyl-5'-O-DMT-cytidine is a novel nucleoside analogue that was synthesized from a cytidine analogue. This compound has antiproliferative activity against cancer cells in vitro and in vivo. The mechanism of action is not yet known, but it is thought to be due to the inhibition of DNA synthesis and/or the induction of apoptosis. N4-Acetyl-3'-O-tert-butyldimethylsilyl-5'-O-DMT-cytidine is not active against HIV, herpes simplex virus type 1, or herpes simplex virus type 2. It also has no effect on the replication of the influenza A virus and cannot inhibit the replication of poliovirus type 1.
Formula:C38H47N3O8SiPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:701.88 g/mol
