3'-Azido-N4-benzoyl-2',3'-dideoxycytidine is a novel nucleoside analog with antiviral and anticancer activities. It is used for the treatment of HIV, hepatitis B and C, herpes, and influenza. 3'-Azido-N4-benzoyl-2',3'-dideoxycytidine has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of cells in culture and to induce apoptosis in various cancer cell lines.
