CAS 130-49-4
:Adenosine 2′-phosphate
Description:
Adenosine 2′-phosphate, commonly referred to as ADP, is a nucleotide that plays a crucial role in cellular energy transfer and metabolism. It consists of an adenosine molecule linked to two phosphate groups, making it a key component in the energy currency of the cell. ADP is involved in various biochemical processes, including the synthesis of ATP (adenosine triphosphate) through phosphorylation, which is essential for energy storage and transfer in living organisms. The molecule is characterized by its ability to participate in enzymatic reactions, particularly those catalyzed by kinases. ADP can also act as a signaling molecule, influencing various physiological processes. In terms of solubility, ADP is typically soluble in water, which facilitates its role in cellular functions. Its structure includes a ribose sugar, a nitrogenous base (adenine), and two phosphate groups, with the second phosphate group being linked by a high-energy bond. Overall, ADP is integral to cellular metabolism and energy dynamics, making it a vital component in biochemistry.

CAS:
Adenosine 2²-monophosphate (AMP) is a nucleotide that is involved in cell metabolism. It is synthesized from adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and has been shown to be important for the regulation of cellular processes, such as enzyme activity, protein synthesis, and gene expression. AMP also plays a role in the activation of microglia cells and the protection of neurons. In addition, AMP has been shown to inhibit the phosphatase activity of gsh-px in vitro. The kinetic data for AMP is dependent on pH and temperature. At neutral pH, the kinetics are exponential with first order reactions at low concentrations and second order reactions at high concentrations. At alkaline pH, the kinetics are linear with first order reactions at low concentrations and second order reactions at high concentrations. The optimum ph for AMP is between 7-8.
Formula:C10H14N5O7PPurity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:PowderMolecular weight:347.22 g/molAdenosine Monophosphate (mixture of 2’(3’)-phosphate isomers)
