CAS:Odapipam is a diagnostic agent for the detection of drugs or metabolites in animal tissues. It is a non-radioactive, water-soluble, fluorescent probe that binds to hydroxyl groups on proteins and lipids. Odapipam has been used to characterize liver function by detecting specific drug binding sites in rat liver microsomes. This probe can also be used for prognosis of hepatic disease, as well as for the diagnosis of various cancers. Odapipam has been shown to be a linker between two molecules, which allows it to bind two molecules together with high specificity and affinity. Odapipam is reconstituted in acidic solution at pH 5.5 and diluted further with water or saline before use.br>br>
