CAS:The equation for the calculation of density is: Density = M/V, where "M" is the mass and "V" is the volume. The pressure range for this experiment is from high to low. A densitometer was used for this experiment to measure the density of different liquids at different pressures. Experimental data was collected by measuring the densities of ethanol, methanol, and ternary mixtures at different pressures. Isentropic, isothermal, and transfer processes were observed during these experiments. Methanol was found to be a good solvent for ethanol as it has a low density relative to ethanol. The heat transfer coefficient increased with increasing pressure when using ethanol as a solvent. The heat transfer coefficient decreased with increasing pressure when using methanol as a solvent.
