  • Cobalt aluminum oxide

    CAS:

Cobalt aluminum oxide is a metal oxide that has a high surface area and can be used as an adsorbent. The particles are spherical in shape with an average particle diameter of 1.5-2.0 micrometres and have a reactive surface area of about 1,000 square meters per gram. Cobalt aluminum oxide is a good catalyst for the production of hydrogen gas from water when it is mixed with ammonium persulfate and deionized water. It also lowers the energy required to break down hydrogen peroxide into oxygen and water when mixed with magnesium salt and metal ions in the reaction solution.
