Phenylmethyl 1-methyl-7-(phenylmethoxy)-1H-indazole-3-carboxylate

Description:
Phenylmethyl 1-methyl-7-(phenylmethoxy)-1H-indazole-3-carboxylate, with the CAS number 133841-12-0, is a synthetic organic compound characterized by its indazole core, which is a five-membered heterocyclic structure containing nitrogen. This compound features a carboxylate functional group, contributing to its potential reactivity and solubility properties. The presence of phenyl and methoxy groups enhances its lipophilicity, which may influence its biological activity and interaction with various biological targets. Typically, compounds of this nature are studied for their pharmacological properties, including potential anti-inflammatory or anticancer activities. The molecular structure suggests that it may exhibit interesting electronic properties due to the conjugation between the aromatic rings and the indazole moiety. Additionally, the compound's stability, solubility, and reactivity can be influenced by environmental factors such as pH and temperature, making it a subject of interest in medicinal chemistry and drug development. Further studies would be necessary to elucidate its specific biological effects and potential applications.
