N-(2-((2-(4-(2-(2-Hydroxyethoxy)ethyl)piperazine-1-carbonyl)phenyl)thio)phenyl)acetamide is a synthetic drug that has been developed for the treatment of various diseases. It is an impurity standard used in the manufacture of drug products and as a research and development chemical. Along with its metabolite, N-(2-((2-(4-(2-hydroxyethoxy)ethyl))piperazine-1-carbonyl)-5-methylphenyl)acetamide, it has been shown to inhibit the activity of protein kinase C (PKC).
