:tetrasodium 1-[5-O-({[(phosphonatooxy)phosphinato]oxy}phosphinato)pentofuranosyl]pyrimidine-2,4(1H,3H)-dione
Description:
Tetrasodium 1-[5-O-({[(phosphonatooxy)phosphinato]oxy}phosphinato)pentofuranosyl]pyrimidine-2,4(1H,3H)-dione, with CAS number 14264-46-1, is a complex chemical compound characterized by its multiple phosphonate and phosphinate functional groups, which contribute to its high solubility in water and potential applications in biochemistry and pharmaceuticals. This substance features a pyrimidine ring, which is a six-membered aromatic heterocycle containing nitrogen atoms, and a pentofuranosyl moiety, indicating a sugar-like structure that may play a role in biological interactions. The presence of multiple anionic sites due to the tetrasodium salt form enhances its reactivity and ability to form complexes with metal ions or other biomolecules. Its structural complexity suggests potential utility in drug delivery systems, as well as in research involving nucleic acids or enzyme interactions. However, specific applications and biological effects would depend on further empirical studies and evaluations.

Uridine-5'-(tetrahydrogen triphosphate) sodium salt (1:4)
CAS:Uridine-5'-(tetrahydrogen triphosphate) sodium salt (1:4) is a noncompetitive inhibitor that binds to the enzyme phosphodiesterase and blocks the production of cGMP. The drug has been shown to be effective in women with immunodeficiency, who have spontaneous abortions. It also has been shown to reduce the incidence of abortion in pregnant Sprague-Dawley rats, which were treated during their pregnancies with uridine. Uridine-5'-(tetrahydrogen triphosphate) sodium salt (1:4) is not active against bacteria. This drug has shown some activity in humans with AIDS, although it is not very potent.Formula:C9H15N2O15P3·4NaPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:576.1 g/mol
