CAS:
Paliperidone is a psychotropic drug that belongs to the class of antipsychotics. It is used in the treatment of schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders. Paliperidone is metabolized extensively by cytochrome P450 enzymes, primarily CYP2D6, into active metabolites with different pharmacokinetics. The drug binds to serotonin receptors and has been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects. Paliperidone also has an affinity for histamine receptors and H1 receptors, which may contribute to its antipsychotic activity and sedative effects respectively. Paliperidone can be administered as a salt or ester prodrug form, but the most common form commercially available is paliperidone palmitate (PP).
Formula:C23H28FN3O3Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:413.49 g/mol
