CAS:Applications 7H-Dodecafluoroheptanoic Acid is a derivative of Heptanoic Acid (H998455) which can be used as an organic building blocks for the synthesis of variety of chemical compounds. Heptanoic Acid is used in the synthesis of 17-epi-Testosterone Enanthate (T155095). It is used in the preparation of esters, such as ethyl heptanoate, which are used in fragrances and as artificial flavors. It is also one of many additives in cigarettes.
