BJE6-106
CAS:
BJE6-106 is a biological sample that is used in chemical biology. It is a protein fragment of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) envelope glycoprotein gp160, which has been shown to inhibit hepatitis C virus (HCV) replication and HIV-1 infection in vitro and in vivo. The fragment was found to bind to the cytosolic calcium ion channels of liver cells, which inhibits the release of inflammatory cytokines that are associated with cancer growth. BJE6-106 also has anti-cancer properties, specifically for mutant melanoma cells. It induces apoptosis by inhibiting the growth factor signaling pathways required for cell proliferation.
Formula:C26H23NO2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:381.47 g/molBJE6-106
