CAS:(3²,5²,14²)-21,23-Epoxy-24-Norchola-20,22-diene-3,14,17-triol is a biological sample that has antihypertensive activity and inhibitory properties. It has been shown to decrease the production of angiotensin II and epidermal growth factor (EGF) in vitro. It also has a binding affinity for cardiac DNA as well as inhibiting erythrocyte aggregation. The molecule also binds to α subunit of the GTPase protein family and inhibits tubule cell growth. This molecule may be useful in treating congestive heart failure or skin disorders such as psoriasis.
