LY3177833 is a protein kinase inhibitor that binds to the ATP-binding pocket of the enzyme, inhibiting its function. LY3177833 has been shown to be effective against colon cancer cells and has been used in clinical trials. The drug was well-tolerated by patients and had no significant side effects. The efficacy of LY3177833 was demonstrated in vitro, where it inhibited the growth of colon cancer cells with an IC50 of 3 nM at 24 hours. LY3177833 also showed anti-tumor effects in a mouse xenograft model, blocking tumor growth and reducing the number of metastases.
