    <p>2'-Deoxyadenosine monohydrate (2'-dA) is an adenosine nucleotide that is synthesized by the enzyme adenosine kinase. It is a competitive inhibitor of phosphodiesterase and inhibits the activity of this enzyme, which breaks down cyclic nucleotides to their corresponding monophosphate form.
