CAS:<p>7-(Trifluoromethyl)-1H-indole-2-carboxylic acid is a chiral lead compound that was developed as a potential antagonist of the n-terminal region of the serotonin receptor. The affinity of 7-(Trifluoromethyl)-1H-indole-2-carboxylic acid for this receptor is approximately 100 times greater than that of other indoles. 7-(Trifluoromethyl)-1H-indole-2-carboxylic acid has been shown to have an affinity for the serotonin receptor, and it has been shown to possess some degree of selectivity.
