:N,O-Diacetyl-L-tyrosine
Description:
N,O-Diacetyl-L-tyrosine is a derivative of the amino acid L-tyrosine, characterized by the acetylation of both the amino and hydroxyl groups. This modification enhances its solubility and stability compared to its parent compound. The substance typically appears as a white to off-white crystalline powder and is soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and dimethyl sulfoxide, but has limited solubility in water. N,O-Diacetyl-L-tyrosine is often utilized in biochemical research and pharmaceutical applications, particularly in studies involving protein synthesis and enzyme activity, due to its ability to mimic the properties of L-tyrosine. Its molecular structure includes an aromatic ring, which contributes to its biochemical reactivity and interactions. Additionally, it may exhibit antioxidant properties, making it of interest in various health-related studies. As with many chemical substances, proper handling and safety precautions should be observed, as it may pose risks if ingested or improperly managed.

N-Acetyl-O-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine
CAS:
N-Acetyl-O-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine
Purity:97%Molecular weight:265.26g/molN,O-Bis-acetyl-L-tyrosine
CAS:
N,O-Bis-acetyl-L-tyrosine is a bioreversible acetylated amino acid that is synthesized from L-tyrosine. It can be used in the preparation of creatine kinase. N,O-Bis-acetyl-L-tyrosine has been shown to bind to the aromatic residues on creatine kinase and inhibit its activity. The acetylation of lysine residues may be reversible, but this process requires the presence of a hydroxyl group on the tyrosine residue. This reaction is catalyzed by a lysine residue on creatine kinase. Studies have shown that the kinetic properties of N,O-Bis-acetyl-L-tyrosine are similar to those of L-tyrosine and therefore it can be used as an alternative substrate for creatine biosynthesis.
Formula:C13H15NO5Purity:Min. 98 Area-%Color and Shape:White PowderMolecular weight:265.26 g/mol(S)-2-Acetamido-3-(4-acetoxyphenyl)propanoic acid
