2,3,4-Tri-O-benzyl-b-D-arabinopyranose (TBA) is a sugar that is found in the skin of primates. It has been shown to promote epidermal growth factor (EGF) production and maturation of the epidermis. TBA has also been shown to have a gestational age effect on epidermal growth.
