Dilept
CAS:
Dilept is a dopamine receptor antagonist that blocks the binding of dopamine to its receptors. Dopamine is a neurotransmitter that modulates the activity of neurons in the brain and other parts of the central nervous system. Dopamine receptors are found throughout the body, but they are most concentrated in regions of the brain associated with movement, emotion, and memory. The drug is used as an adjunct to hemodialysis for patients with renal failure or chronic kidney disease. It is also used as an experimental treatment for cancer, epilepsy, and Parkinson's disease. Dilept can be synthesized from caproic acid by reacting it with 3-chloro-4-fluoroaniline (3-CFA) and hydrochloric acid (HCl). The effective dose for humans is 10 mg per day.
Formula:C22H21ClN2O3Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:396.9 g/mol
