CAS 208987-48-8
:1-Butyl-3-(1-naphthoyl)indole
Description:
1-Butyl-3-(1-naphthoyl)indole, with the CAS number 208987-48-8, is a synthetic compound that belongs to the class of indole derivatives. It is primarily recognized for its role as a cannabinoid receptor agonist, which means it can interact with the endocannabinoid system in the body. This compound features a butyl group and a naphthoyl moiety attached to the indole structure, contributing to its unique chemical properties and biological activity. Typically, it appears as a solid or crystalline substance and is characterized by its relatively high lipophilicity, which influences its solubility in organic solvents. The compound is often studied for its potential therapeutic applications, particularly in the context of pain relief and anti-inflammatory effects. However, due to its synthetic nature and the regulatory status of similar compounds, it is essential to handle it with caution in laboratory settings. As with many synthetic cannabinoids, research is ongoing to fully understand its pharmacological effects and safety profile.

CAS:Controlled ProductJWH 073 is a cannabinoid receptor agonist that binds to the CB2 receptor. It has been shown to have nootropic effects and to reduce locomotor activity in mice. JWH 073 has also been shown to interact with other drugs, including erythromycin, which may lead to drug-drug interactions. JWH 073 has been found to be safe for use in humans and has not shown any long-term toxicity at high doses. This study used an analytical method based on liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) for the detection of JWH 073 in human serum samples. The sample preparation was done by solid phase extraction using Oasis HLB cartridges (Waters). Matrix effects were removed by diluting the samples with methanol containing deuterated internal standards. The extract was then analyzed by LC-MS/MS using electrospray ionization in positive ion mode (ESI+).Formula:C23H21NOPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:327.42 g/mol1-Butyl-3-(1-naphthoyl)indoleJWH-073 (100 ug/mL in Acetonitrile)
