Tofisopam is a drug that belongs to the class of benzodiazepines. It is used in the treatment of panic disorder, with or without agoraphobia. Tofisopam has a half-life of 17 hours and is metabolized by cytochrome P450 enzymes into 2 metabolites: alpha-hydroxytofisopam and beta-hydroxytofisopam.
