CAS 23255-20-1
:3-Pyridinecarboximidamide
Description:
3-Pyridinecarboximidamide, with the CAS number 23255-20-1, is an organic compound characterized by its pyridine ring structure, which is a six-membered aromatic ring containing one nitrogen atom. This compound features a carboximidamide functional group, which is characterized by the presence of a carbon atom double-bonded to a nitrogen atom and single-bonded to an amine group. The presence of these functional groups imparts unique chemical properties, including potential basicity and reactivity towards electrophiles. 3-Pyridinecarboximidamide is typically a solid at room temperature and may exhibit solubility in polar solvents due to its functional groups. It can participate in various chemical reactions, including nucleophilic substitutions and condensation reactions, making it of interest in synthetic organic chemistry. Additionally, compounds with similar structures are often studied for their biological activities, including potential applications in pharmaceuticals. As with many nitrogen-containing heterocycles, it may also exhibit interesting electronic properties due to the presence of the nitrogen atom in the aromatic system.

Nicotinamidine
CAS:
Nicotinamidine is a prodrug that is hydrolyzed in vivo to nicotinic acid. Nicotinamide has been shown to inhibit glutamate-induced blood pressure elevation and the production of soluble guanylate cyclase, which leads to decreased levels of cGMP. Nicotinamide also inhibits the activity of chemical substances (e.g., hydrogen chloride and hydrochloric acid), which are involved in the formation of nitric oxide. This drug has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on the growth of t47d cells in culture and can be used as a potential treatment for type 2 diabetes.
Formula:C6H7N3Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:121.14 g/mol
