CAS 23674-86-4
:Epitopic
Description:
Epitopic, with the CAS number 23674-86-4, is a chemical substance that is primarily recognized for its role in immunology rather than as a standalone chemical compound. The term "epitope" refers to the specific part of an antigen that is recognized by the immune system, particularly by antibodies, T-cell receptors, or B-cell receptors. Epitopes can be linear or conformational and are crucial for the specificity of immune responses. In the context of research and therapeutic applications, substances associated with epitopes may be involved in vaccine development, diagnostics, and the study of autoimmune diseases. The characteristics of such substances typically include their ability to elicit an immune response, their structural diversity, and their potential for modification to enhance immunogenicity. While the specific properties of Epitopic as a chemical entity may not be widely documented, its relevance in biological and medical fields underscores the importance of understanding epitopes in the context of immune system interactions.

CAS:Controlled Product
Difluprednate is a corticosteroid that is used topically to treat eye inflammation. It has been shown to reduce ocular inflammation in rats and mice, with no effect on the cornea. Difluprednate is prepared as an aqueous solution containing benzalkonium chloride, which acts as a preservative. The medication can be used for short periods of time, but prolonged use may lead to bowel disease and polymerase chain reactions. Difluprednate has anti-inflammatory activity and can be used in place of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It has been found that prednisolone acetate, the active form of difluprednate, inhibits inflammatory cells in vitro by inhibiting nuclear factor kappaB activation. This inhibition leads to decreased production of pro-inflammatory cytokines and chemokines such as IL-1β, IL-6, IL-8, T
Formula:C27H34F2O7Purity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:White PowderMolecular weight:508.55 g/molDifluprednate
