CAS:4-Benzoylpiperidine hydrochloride is a muscarinic acetylcholine receptor antagonist that is used to treat cancer. It blocks the binding of acetylcholine to its receptors on tumor cells and prevents tumor cell growth. 4-Benzoylpiperidine hydrochloride has been shown to have anticancer activity in various animal models and also inhibits the growth of human lung cancer cells in culture. This drug also has an anti-cancer effect in vitro and in vivo, which may be due to its ability to activate the m3 muscarinic acetylcholine receptor.
