α-Methyl-DL-aspartic acid
CAS:α-Methyl-DL-aspartic acid specifically inhibits argininosuccinate synthase (ASS), the rate-limiting enzyme in 1-citrulline-to-1-arginine recycling.Formula:C5H9NO4Purity:99.91%Color and Shape:SolidMolecular weight:147.13α-Methyl-DL-aspartic acid
CAS:
α-Methyl-DL-aspartic acid is an inhibitor of the enzyme aspartate aminotransferase, which catalyzes the conversion of L-aspartate to oxaloacetate. It has been used to investigate proton and pH effects on mitochondrial membrane potential and ATP synthesis in wild type and mutant yeast strains. α-Methyl-DL-aspartic acid also inhibits the synthesis of l-citrulline and other amino acids. The compound has been shown to be effective against infections caused by hl60 cells in an experimental model. !-- -->
Formula:C5H9NO4Purity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:PowderMolecular weight:147.13 g/mol
