:Piritramide
Description:
Piritramide is a synthetic opioid analgesic primarily used for its potent pain-relieving properties. It is classified as a morphinan derivative and is known for its effectiveness in managing moderate to severe pain, often in postoperative settings. Piritramide acts on the central nervous system by binding to opioid receptors, particularly the mu-opioid receptor, which results in analgesia and sedation. Its pharmacological profile includes a relatively long duration of action, making it suitable for continuous pain management. The substance is typically administered via injection, and its effects can be accompanied by common opioid-related side effects such as nausea, constipation, and respiratory depression. Piritramide is not widely used in all countries and may be subject to strict regulatory controls due to its potential for abuse and dependence. As with all opioids, careful monitoring and adherence to dosing guidelines are essential to minimize risks associated with its use.

CAS:Controlled Product
Piritramide is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug that is used to treat pain and inflammation in a variety of conditions. It has been shown to inhibit the production of gamma-aminobutyric acid in receptor cells, which may be responsible for its depressant effect on the central nervous system. Piritramide also inhibits blood clotting and can increase blood flow to the site of injury or infection. The drug is effective at relieving pain and inflammation due to abdominal surgery and carcinoma cell lines. Piritramide is metabolized by esterases in the liver into trifluoroacetic acid, which then circulates throughout the body. This drug also binds to serum proteins such as albumin, leading to an increased half-life time.
Formula:C27H34N4OPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:430.59 g/mol
