    <p>Acetyl-b-alanine is a naturally occurring amino acid that is synthesized in the body. It has been shown to be beneficial in the treatment of metabolic disorders, such as acute ischemic stroke and depression. Acetyl-b-alanine binds to glutamate and prevents it from being converted into glutamine, which leads to increased levels of glutamate and decreases levels of glutamine.
