CAS:<p>Tetraglycol is a glycol ether that is used as a solvent, plasticizer, and lubricant. It has been shown to be an effective agent for the treatment of microbial infections in vivo. Tetraglycol has a high bioavailability in humans and can be administered orally. The pentobarbital sodium-induced sleep model was used to study the pharmacokinetics of tetraglycol in rats. In this model, it was found that tetraglycol had an antidiabetic effect and could be used as a potential therapeutic agent for autoimmune diseases.
